The Fortune China recently announced the Fortune China 500 companies for 2025. Six Hunan enterprises made the list for their stable performance. They are: Hunan Iron & Steel Group, Lens Technology Group, Bank of Changsha Co., Ltd., Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Bosen Industry Group, and Hunan Gold Corporation, ranking 125th, 252nd, 325th, 331st, 391st, and 469th respectively. Among them, Hunan Gold Corporation entered the list for the first time.

The five Hunan enterprises that have been on the list continuously have all improved their rankings compared to the previous year. In specific, the Hunan Iron & Steel Group, Lens Technology Group, Bank of Changsha Co., Ltd., Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology Co., Ltd., and Hunan Bosen Industry Group have advanced 6, 63, 15, 4, and 42 places respectively. The Lens Technology Group has achieved the most significant progress among the listed Hunan enterprises, thanks to its continuous efforts in technological innovation and strategic transformation.

The shortlisted Hunan enterprises cover such key areas as high-end manufacturing, new materials, finance, engineering machinery, and mining resources. This sends a positive signal to the market that Hunan's advantageous industries have deep roots with emerging new growth points.

The 2025 Fortune China 500 companies gained total operating revenues of 14.2 trillion USD in 2024, a decline of about 2.7% compared to the previous year's list. The net profits increased about 7% to 756.4 billion USD. The annual revenue threshold for companies on this year's list is about 3.62 billion USD, down about 3% from last year's entry threshold.
